Ring Patterns: A look back at April 2016

Illinois specialties top the list again
National Specialty aside, there were 15 specialty shows held in 7 states during April: Illinois, California, Florida, Connecticut, Oklahoma, Washington and Louisiana. At the Interlocking Shetland Sheepdog Clubs' same-day specialty shows, Judges Kim Schive and Harriet Smith judged the largest talent pool with 61 in attendance at each of their shows. Judge Schive was approved for the breed in February of 2006 and Judge Smith in April of 1980. This was the second month in a row that the State of Illinois hosted the shows with the largest entry exhibited at a specialty.
