Shows closing this week

There are two shows closing Wednesday, March 26. The Harrisbburg Shetland Sheepdog Club Specialties will take place Saturday and Sunday, April 12 and 13 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg. Saturday's show, hosted by Harrisburg Kennel Club, will be judged by Tomas Gomez (Breed) and Joan Avery (Sweeps). Sunday's show, hosted by Mason-Dixon Kennel Club, will be judged by Alane Gomez (Breed) and Anne Laney (Sweeps).

Today at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the 2007 Westminster BOB and BOS repeated their achievements for 2008. CH Kylene Eden The Dragonslayer, a multiple Best in Show- and specialty-winner, bred by Lenore Patrick and Kathy Dziegiel and owned by Karen Hannah, Kathy, Lenore and Mary Bulens was Best of Breed. The sable bitch, CH Shelhaven Rabbit Run Rhapsody, last year's National Specialty BOS and a specialty winner in the U.S. and Canada, was BOS to the sable dog.
