2008 SOL TOP Shows Final Ranking
There were a total of 127 sheltie specialites held from January 4 to December 14, 2008. Entries at the specialties and the number of specialty shows increased this year from last year with 13 independent specialties (excluding the National Specialty) registering 70 or more competitors. This year there were three more independent specilties held in the U.S.
The average number of entries for all the specialty shows combined throughout the year (excluding the National Specialty) was 44 (42 in 2007). The largest independent specialty show pulled an entry of 91. The least attended specialty had an entry of 9 which was held at an all-breed show. This ranking is based solely on the actual number of competitors at the show not the number of entries received by the show giving club. Below is a list of the Top Shows that had 70 or more competitors.
