Best Dessert in Show
Taffy Apple Salad made by Rose Zielinski Rose is 86 1/2 yrs old, she is a Life Member of Chicagoland SSC and the mother of Linda Kunicki, Starlite Shelties. Her Taffy Apple Salad is requested for every event we have. Rose is known throughout the sheltie world for her ability to sell raffle tickets at the CSSC shows and the 1997 National. As well as for the most candy when we did a fundraiser for the club. She was first became a sheltie pet owner in 1951. As a child her family had a collie, named Trixie who saved her life from a bull. She does so much for the club because she loves shelties and remembers what Trixie did.
